These should polarise opinion nicely.... G-Steel!!

http://world.g-shock.com/asia-mea/en/special/g-ste...

Or do they need their own thread?

I think I like the concept, just not too fond of the execution for these particular models.

the combination of reading this thread and having an Amazon gift card lying about have led to a purchase... My first foray into the world of G-Shock, and I have to say, I'm impressed so far!

I've got one of these and although it's not my dearest G I do find it's the one I usually grab in the morning!

My G-shocks, the Rangeman and the MTG. Just bought the Rangeman for work and the MTG was purchased after my last 4 month trip away.
I get the impression the MTG isn't that popular in this thread but I love it and haven't had a negative comment from anyone who's seen it while out and about.
That MTG is amazing. So want one but cant pony up the coins for one

The wife kindly bought me another G-Shock to add to the collection:

G-9300 Mudman. A lot chunkier than my GW-9010 Mudman and possibly the nicest looking G-Shock I have save for the GW-3000.

Still hankering after a Rangeman though. That or a GW-9300CM-1JR.

What size wrists have you got and how do you find the size/weight of the MTG? Quite tempted by one but have read that they are huge. It looks fine on you in that photo though.

Using a piece of string my wrist is 190mm so quite small. I've removed two links and like the fit.
I was supprised by the weight at first but my other watch was titanium so quite light anyway. Once you're wearing it the weight isn't an issue.

Good price,£119 from creation watches so that's a good price from a high street retailer

It was actually an online deal. I ordered the last one in stock last Friday night and collected it on Sunday. I got a two year warranty with it too. Good old hot UK deals. 😎😎

Was torn between this and the green camo Rangeman but this seems more special and I have the mudman anyway. Roll on Thursday!

Originally was going to order from a seller in the USA but after import duty and VAT it worked out only a few quid cheaper than a UK seller on eBay. £260 with free delivery.
I also didn't have the balls to go for the yellow. The red and blue Rangemen were in with a shout too.
