Needs a few more 'authentic' cards & tags, all the big names have them.

Well chuffed as I picked this GW A1100 for just over £200 second hand, imaculate condition, been looking for ages but most of them seem to be over £300

I'm intrigued about the quality of metal G-SHOCK bracelets. Are they any good?

I'd say OK for the price point.

Rattly when you're not wearing the watch, but better once on

Just found this thread on page 4! nono

Anyway, does anyone have any experience of both a GX56 and a 5600? I love my GX56 and in an ideal world I would just pick up the red version, but it seems to be getting more and more difficult to find one in decent condition. Natuarlly my train of thought went over to the 5600 series as they are still available new and in a variety of colours and types, but I have large wrists and I'm just not sure they will work.

Does anyone have both? How do they compare especially in terms of how they wear?

I've got both. I think the 5600 wears better. I like big watches I've got an older pro trek (PRG 60) and wear a SMP but at work where my watch can take a knock I'll wear the 5600. It's big enough to read easily and doesn't look too small on my 7 1/2 wrist.
I find the GX 56 is a touch too big for wearing under sleeves and don't really wear for anything other than cycling or when washing the car or gardening. Nice to have but too big for me for everyday use.
My 5600 is the solar, atomic version on a black metal strap. Can't fault it.
If I lost both and could only afford to replace one it would be the 5600.

Picked this up from Amazon this week, love the light blue hands. As usual the backlight is an after thought wink

Just bought one of these for my son - in red. He loves it.

I had a play with one of those in a shop and the complexity put me off. Really difficult to set it up. Too complex for a beater watch. Manual is hundreds of pages.

Still love the styling though.

I have the same watch but with the red lines on the face rather than the green. I got 40% off with my casio discount.

I also have the same bottom left watch too but in orange. Picked that up half price in John Lewis.

Both of them are my favorites. cool
