Mine is still pretty much unmarked and hasn't missed a beat (not surprising really). They are pretty crappy pictures (taken on my phone, in shops, through glass cabinets) but heres a few snaps from my holiday in japan a few weeks back. I bought the JDM Rangeman. Roughly, divide the prices by 182 to get the £ value.
These were taken in the bigger department stores (eg BIC Camera). We did visit the electronics district Tokyo (Akihabara) but prices didn't seem cheaper. That was the place for 2nd hand g-shocks though.

Which model is this please?
I think it's a G-1400-1A, and if it is there is one available here with collection from your local ArgosI've just treated myself to its flourescent green brother
New RAF G shock details are out
http://www.g-shock.co.uk/product/?v=GPW-1000RAF-1A...
Pricey but it is GPS and includes a donation to the RAF benevolent association.
AFAIK only Seiko sell GPS watches and I think they're well north of £1000. Considering that
and the unique RAF branding makes this limited edition pretty collectable I think. Sorely tempted but just can't justify it especially as I have its predecessor.

I tried this on last Saturday, God it looks good on the wrist, it's bigger than the aviator range but at £700 it's well out of my price range.http://www.g-shock.co.uk/product/?v=GPW-1000RAF-1A...

I can't beieve how light the aviator range is, kinda makes em feel cheap in a way,
This is lovely http://www.g-shock.co.uk/product/?v=MTG-S1000BS-1A...
but who is going to spend > £1200 on a G-Shock?
I found it hard enough to drop almost £500 on the GW-A1000FC-1A4ER.
I wonder how many pieces it is limited to?

when G Shocks start moving from utilitarian into status-symbols or outright wrist baubles, the game is over. The shark has been jumped.
and I have a GWA-1000A that was £500 new, but I bought it second hand for £225 (second hand G-shock - brilliant!) and I like that it looks like a <£100 watch.

GWN-1000B-1A just arrived! Only £251 at the moment so I snapped it up as soon as I saw it at that price. They still have some in stock. Looks really fantastic in the flesh (poor photo). I agree with above comments that I won't ever be spending £500-£1000 on a G-shock but 250 is pretty good for one of their top models.
The mrs got me another G for my Bday yesterday. Its a GD-110-2CR and nice and bright! Takes the total to 7 now.
