I have made my first G-Shock purchase, a AW-591MS-1AER

Has it arrived yet? What is the strap like - on a few sites it says 'resin strap', yet it looks to be a fabric strap? With resin inserts maybe.

If it's fabric i'm all over it at £60! Tah.
Good choice Roadrunner..I got that same watch last week from Watchshop.com. I love it. My first G-Shock too! The strap is indeed fabric and the orange underside is more like a faux leather acrylic fabric (if that makes sense!?)
I find it very comfy and light and it seems to get better looking by the day.
Get one bought. If you don't like it the Watchshop have a hassle-free returns procedure by all accounts.
This watch arrived today, after me missing the DHL man for the last week!

Unfortunately... as cool as it looks, it's just too small for my wrist! Don't think I can pull this one off.

£55 posted if anyone on here would like it, otherwise i'll probably stick it in the watch drawer and leave it for some years.

That's a shame, my wrists aren't the biggest so I think it looks OK on me.

Although slightly biased, I agree, I think it is a pretty cool looking watch so hopefully someone will take you up on your offer and you won't lose out too much.

Good choice! My favourite G. Which have you gone for?

While I'm on this thread, has anyone been to the G Shock shop on Brick Lane? Just wondering if it's worth the trip?

I've had a hankering for a new G-Shock for a while now. I've got a Mudman and a GW-3000B and I'd like something with a bit more colour (white or bright neon colours). I'm only really interested in watches with solar and atomic. So far the best candidates I've found are:

http://www.creationwatches.com/products/casio-g-sh...

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Casio-Quartz-G-Shock-GWX-8...

Anyone got any other suggestions? I'm a bit clueless as to where to find special editions for sale.

It wasn't me that's selling it, it was user 16plates, although it may have now been sold going off the first few posts on this page.

Either way, I bought mine from here http://www.watchshop.com/mens-casio-g-shock-alarm-...

Really rare one available on Ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331499371233?ssPageName=...

He just sold a the Yellow LRG one as well for £260, I'd imagine that will go for similar, if not more, I always thought the blue one was a little bit nicer.

Went for the white one in the end. Very pleased, it's quite a bit chunkier than my GW-9010

My first G. GD-350 stealth/negative display. £55 from TZ UK. Happy with it. Just noticed it's already picked up loads of dust/crap from decorating today!

I'm in Tokyo next week. Any recommendations for the best place for Casio or just wander thru Akihabara.

There's a G Shock shop in the mall on Odaiba, you can get there by walking over the rainbow bridge, which is worth doing.

Hi mate, sorry but the watch sold - fortunately to a fellow PHer.

Available on Amazon for £60. Although if you can wait, i seen it on creation watches for £56, but it'll come from Europe somewhere.
