Gave up on F1 a long time ago, but think you'll be paying a premium as these are collectable now Seiko/Honda is dead.

Christopher Ward all the way I think.

Sorry, but my thoughts are that it looks a bit cheap & tacky.

The CW is nicer.

I have the second of the two pictured, but with the bracelet, not the urethane strap. I paid £268 from a discount wholesalers in Edinburgh a year ago (retail £350 normally). Its a good everyday watch, but a little heavy, so I now wish I had bought it with the urethane strap - I can get one, for about £60 I believe.
I now wish that I had bought the Oris Williams F1 watch instead. Mainly because they are automatic (as is the CW). The old versions are being sold off by Goldsmiths at a 20 - 50% discount as the 2009 versions are in the stores now (and less attractive inmho).

If you can stretch the budget a little and still want an F1 inspired watch, this is what I would go for (and I am on the look out)

Have you checked Goldsmiths? They've got an Oris sale on at the moment.

Not keen on the first one, but the others are all very nice.
