I'ma big fan of the original TAG F1. You can get them in your budget, and I think they are very cool - a classic almost.

I've bought 3 so far on the 'bay, and they've all been lemons. 1st one misted up when warm, 2nd one the bezel fell off and would not go back on, third one bracelet was sized too short for me and the seller insisted I could use the wetsuit extension pieces, despite them being really uncomfortable.
I get the feeling that I'm just not supposed to own one...

That's a pity. I got one last year from a jeweller with the luminous face, bracelet and green bezel for £150 and it has been OK (apart from it needs a new battery just now). Keep the faith - the right one will come along!

I want one either like the picture above, or the same with the luminous dial. Did they ever do a "full size" one, as all the ones I find are advertised as "mid sized"?

They were all mid size. They also did a smaller ladies version.

They did a full size chronomoter version which is also quite tasty. A little bit dearer though. Sorry, I can't find any pics at the moment.

As an aside, I am quite keen to change the green bezel on my Formula 1 for a black bezel. Any idea how much this would be and who could do it?

Cheers

I had one of these till I lost it. :'(

click.

Hard-wearing, tough and light. May favourite 'work' watch... sadly lost, hopefully in a drawer or behind the sofa.
