I'm curious about this too - I read the ad that's the watch only, unless you spend the extra 4 quid for one with a box, but no mention of papers in either.

Just the watch......was a bit concerned when I opened the package to note that.

However it is exactly as pictured in the ad. And the Seiko markings can be seen deep within the movement.

I guess the best way to see if we've all bought a fake is to compare serial stamps/barcodes.

Mine has SEIKO TIME CORP 7S26B stamped on the movement.

On the glass back is printed ST.STEEL 7S26-02J0 A4 KY

The tag attached to the watch has Ref.SNK809K2 Cal.7S26

Barcode on Tag is 4954628029607

my work watch battery died yesterday so it would have been rude not to order one of these instead of a £2 battery

Wheyhey! bounce

Btw I just ordered mine from one of the UK sellers, have any of you had to pay any import duty/taxes on your watches?

No tax for me biggrin.
I think the seller wrapped mine as garishly as he did so it appeared as a 'gift'....possibly wink

Oily, did you get any acknowledgement of posting on my.ebay.com?

Mine *should* be winging it's garish way to me now, as I was told it would be posted 9th or 10th of Feb, but there's still no "posted" marker set on my.ebay.com. frown

Nope I sent a request for a shipped date, but I didn't hear anything till it turned up.
It took about 6-7 days for the watch to arrive.
Its worth the wait smile

Throw in a few more £10 notes on top of your £50 and you could have a rather nice Parnis 'IWC Portuguese' hommage;

Couldn't resist. I've been after a decent automatic second watch for a while now. Went for the blue face with blue strap. I hate waiting for things to turn up!

They are cracking watches for the money. Just about to pull the trigger on one of these myself.

Mine is here too. No pics yet. Could definitely do with a leather strap. The OH was a pretty unimpressed until she saw the display back, then she decided she quite liked it.
