Does anyone know of a trusted seller? This seller is superb and trustworthy. http://www.manbushijie.com/productshow-201-2.htmlLog in for cheaper prices - it's $60 + P&P.

I'm loving mine but the strap it came on isn't very nice. It looks ok but is very stiff. I've given it a while to see if it would break in, which it hasn't so I've just ordered a NATO strap for it. Not sure what it will look like, I'll post pic when it's fitted.

And I agree with the point about rotor noise. Just been reading up on the STICKY at the top of this forum. Seems I've a lot to learn about photography, and blaming the phone's not helping me out. Runs off to practice with a ream of paper by a windowsill.

I have read a few good things about Alpha watches. They do a lot of mechanical homage watches at a very low price. I do not own one, but a member of a watch forum that I visit who owns both Parnis and Alpha's reckons the Alpha to be better quality. http://www.alpha-watch.com/

I have an Alpha and I wear it as a daily beater. It is 2 years old. It has lost the lume pip on the bezel (just like my real PO, and my Tissot!), the crown no longer screws in. Otherise its reliable, keeps time as well as my real PO but has worse quality than my TAO. Look closely at the machining on the sides of the case and you can tell its cheap.
But £50 for an auto that I can use daily is fine IMO. When it was new it withstood me dunking it over a metre under water because I forgot I was wearing it.

Inspired with this thread I bought a black face Parnis power reserve, anyone finding that the automatic wind up is not so great?
Also, what does the small push in button do on the side?
It does not come with any instruction manual, is it possible to manually wind this watch?
