Have to be honest and say I've never heard of Holuns, but I do like blue hands/numbers look great with a bit of lights on them
More than a hint of the IWC Portuguese about that! Do you have any more details- it looks nicer than the Parnis Homage I had my eye on!

Yeah was going for something IWC style and already have a couple of Parnis watches and didn't want another one, got it from http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Holuns-men-quartz-p... I'm guessing there's not alot inside it as it very light (and big) but I like it and looks nice with a suit. There's also some without logo's

Beat this for £26. (closer to £35 after tax etc).

Was ordering an SKX009 from a Japanese seller on Rakuten and had a look at what else they had and this was listed for 4704 yen so it went in the cart.
Nice - Got a link?

I'm glad this thread has been brought back from the dead, not least because I need advice. I'm after a new strap for my Seiko 5. I've got the green one but the strap's getting really tatty - where's best for new ones?

What sort of strap are you after? I've had a few Natos from http://www.ukwatchstrap.co.uk/ and they'd suit the Seiko 5. They even do an olive two-piece Zulu style which looks like a fairly OE replacement for £5.95 plus £1.45 postage. I'd probably go for a one piece Zulu though; there's something about the way the strap goes under the watch which looks quite cool. You might be limited to Nato rather than Zulu if it's 18mm wide though.

Or if you want to spent 40% of the price of the watch on a strap, their Horween leather Nato is rather nice. I have one on a Seiko solar pilot.

To those of you who were kind enough to post a picture of your watch, please include a link to where you bought it from, thanks.

With regard to Invicta (Invictus?) I bought one on a whim two years ago.
Very nice, but within a few months, it was scratched and the dimple on the 12, fell off,
the bracelet also became quite loose.

It looks like this

Thanks Jobbo. It's an 18mm, so all I can see that'll work is a dark Khaki NATO unless I'm missing something? Is the tool for the pins worthwhile?

Yes, it seems the 18mm range is a bit limited - sorry, didn't realise when I posted that. You're not limited to green/khaki, I guess.

I'm happy with green as I'm in the forces and it matches the uniform! Thanks for the tip on the site, it's a good one.

I bought that one way back in January as my first G-Shock. I've been impressed with it, even if I can't work out how to alter the time.

I've just got a £50 amazon voucher and have to say that's VERY tempting, since I don't have a G-Shock yet...

Damn you all.

This morning at around 3am (it is now 19:37) I read this thread as I was bored and couldn't sleep.

The upshot is that I have just bought a Seiko 5. This one to be precise -

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002SSUQFG/ref=pe_38572...

But it didn't stop there. Oh no. You all HAD to keep talking about NATO straps so I bought a black, grey and orange one to put on the thing when I get it.

What is worse is that it doesn't even do what I wanted (just a general working/swimming watch) so I had to buy a Casio as well.

These will add to my Omega Titanium seamaster and er £15 orange Casio !

I hope you can sleep at night knowing all this. You should be ashamed !

Well opening this thread just cost me £72....gone for an Orange Bezel with black face. I also bought multi-tool which popped up at the same time. I am sure I needed them both.
