On the plus side, it's quartz so it should still work for a while.
I'll have you know my Zeiger Automatic is still functioning perfectly for over two weeks now! To add to Hoofy's comment, it doesn't ever need winding. If you put it on at say 9am and take it off at 9pm then it seems fine.

Anyone managed to get a GPS watch (for running, say) under budget?
Quick search reveals this which is just over budget... https://www.amazon.co.uk/TomTom-Runner-GPS-Watch-1...

A mate had that tom tom, plus tried a microsoft band (the first one) both got returned.Quick search reveals this which is just over budget... https://www.amazon.co.uk/TomTom-Runner-GPS-Watch-1...
Gps performance was poor.
He has a polar m400 now, we tried the polar and band at the same time, the results were 0.7 miles different recording on a 4.4 mile route.
The tom tom was off by a similar margin (not on that same day) it recorded 6.0 miles on a course known to be 5.0 miles.
I use a Lumia 435 with a polar hrm, it gets the same as the polar for recording, 25.6 miles (mtb) it was spot on.
Its down to the gps chip in them, Garmin is another one to consider, they are very good.
Its going to have to be 2nd hand to keep with the thread budget, if something new strays near £50 its going to be for a reason.
On a side note the lorus watch i got a few pages back is doing a great job.
- edit, found a good review of it.

If you do go for it, let us know how you get on.

Who takes your links out?
I bought a cheap watch repair kit from Maplin: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/30-piece-watch-repair-to...Its been great for taking links in/out, fitting straps and batteries.
I got the tom tom at that price, does a good job.
Its with the Lorus from a few pages back.
Polar ft4, does time and hr but not gps.
Timex Marathon, had this for year's as an every day choice its good.
Williams F1, not sure who made it but it's got the analog stop function if it's left to long, also a twin battery model.
Walking shop pulse watch, I was given this, I don't use it very often.
With the exception of the tom tom, the others (when they were new) come in under thread budget.

can't go wrong at Argos for that budget you're after, here are a couple worth having a look at?

Hi all,
I finally received my replacement Seiko snk 803 but they could only send me it in cream / off white. Shame it's the only colour I didn't like.
I know this is a bit of a piss take and bends the rules but would anyone on here be interested before fly back to Germany on Wednesday? 40 quid and I'll post it for free. Pm me if you want it.
