That's great! The strap and buckle are £20 worth!

I wonder if it would fit any of my other watches and whether it would work or just look silly.

That's it. Bit silly really, but I paid a couple of quid more to get it from this seller as it looked better in the photos in the wood that I wanted. I will post up some snaps when it arrives.

This seller is a little cheaper:

Was considering this one for a while, but I didn't like the black bit around the LCD. A bit more expensive at £32.57.

I don't think you can, it looks narrow where it joins the case.

I'll have to be careful not to get it water stained. Maybe a bit of varnish will be needed!

Just ordered one in Verawood for a Christmas present for myself - went with the cheaper seller, mostly as it has slightly better feedback. Will be interesting to see if it looks the same as yours when it arrives.

This is the trouble when I start looking at watches, I can never buy just one.

Just ordered one of these. It's homage of a watch made by Sevenfriday and it has some of the best examples of Chinese tag lines I have seen hehe

Excellent! I want one! That's a fine strapline if they are going for (ahem) customers from a particular section of the population, an ad in GT ought to clean up.

What the actual fk? Why can't they pay an English person a tenner...or give them a watch...just to sanity check the translation?

My mate had a Jap import MR2 turbo. The mats and rear screen had the immortal strapline "A man in dandism. New rich, and sports" What the juddering fk...it's not like Toyota don't operate in the UK FFS!!!!

It doesn't matter - most Japanese cannot read English. It's like English people getting a Japanese symbol tattoo: they often mean something mundane.

I'm going to get "Residents Parking Permit Area" tattooed on my arm in Japanese. That'll be cool.

The difference is that the person who gets the tattoo isn't in a similar league to the marketing director who approves a slogan in a car company who operates on a global scale.

This Accurist popped up in the Amazon Black Friday sale, a Firefox extension has told me it's £30 at Argos but their site isn't working at the moment.

Quite tempted as it's very similar looking to a Seiko 5 I like but can't find in stock (and when I do it's £150)

Has yours come yet? Mine came today. Looks really nice, though a bit larger than I expected. The analogue part of the movement does not appear to be working frown. Did yours come with instructions?

That was quick! No mine hasn't arrived yet, if the analogue clock doesn't work I'll be mildly annoyed...

ETA tracking says its arrived in Aberdeen today! Should get it very shortly...

Well it's arrived...

First impressions seemed good... Looks and feels nice... Analogue bit seemed to be working until it was quite obvious the minute hand was stuck at the 35-40 minute mark, although if you waggle it it sometimes goes to the 10 minutes position.

Oh and the strap was broken when it arrived too

Bit disappointing, given I've bought cheaper automatic watches which have all been fully functional despite more parts to fk up you'd have thought. Think I'll try and return it...

Can you post pics when it arrives? Quite like the look of the black version.
Thanks!
