What watch for £50

You are an entitled idiot. They should waive their charge and forward the parcel to a customs agent for you. Then you could clear your own items through customs and pay your dues without using their service.
I'm sure RM would charge me even more if I asked them to forward the parcel somewhere else, not less. And why would a customs agent be happier to handle my incoming goods for free? And less of the name calling, eh? phil_cardiff said:
That's lovely when on the bracelet. Is there anything similar available in the UK for under £100?
I emailed the chap I bought it from in the UK yesterday. He replied:"Bought it abroad. My wife is Chinese she brought it from China in the official Casio store in Guangzhou."

Thanks for doing that. I'll just have to keep my eye out for something similar.
Have a look at the EFR-527, there is a white faced model that comes close. Chaps, I've broken my Seiko 5. I think I knocked it whilst camping and it's now stopped. Nothing is obviously/visibly broken. Any ideas? Any recommendations for repairers? Is it worth repairing?
Whilst there's undoubtedly appeal in shopping for a replacement, I'd prefer to revive this one if it's possible. I've had it for about 4 years I think.

I ordered one of these last night...
A full £44.25 under budget, I could have bought 8 of them & still had enough left over for a couple of scratchcards!
Looking forward to it arriving in 6 weeks time, & lasting 3 days before it falls apart.

Smashed the glass at the end of June, pissed at the time so not sure how i did it. I think it was on the turnstiles at Leeds station...
Just tried to buy another one, but no longer in stock.
There's some on Amazon for £11! Robbing bds!

The mainspring has probably got stuck. Given that it is now dead, you could try slapping it: put it flat in the palm of one hand and slap the other hand over it. What's the worst that could happen?Whilst there's undoubtedly appeal in shopping for a replacement, I'd prefer to revive this one if it's possible. I've had it for about 4 years I think.

I have tried that, and it's currently working! I'll see how long that lasts. Thank you. CharlesdeGaulle said:

Slap it again!
I have - no joy. I'll probably take it to a local repairer, or even a Timpsons. I see a replacement is around £70 now - seems a lot.
Might just go quartz!
ETA - quite like this:

Sorry, I don't know what came over me. This is the perfect excuse to buy two watches. The first as a replacement and the second to pre-empt the failure of the replacement and mean you don't go without a watch.
So, recommendations then...?I know you're good at this so expectations are high!
