Out of the two, I'd go for the navy. The beige one doesn't do it for me.
Glad to be of any help! Good luck with the OH!
Just ordered mine (the black one). Hopefully it turns up soon!

Q for Progressive... Have you had it long? If so do you find the strap gets dirty easily?

Just got it at Christmas. Worn it every day since. That said, I'm generally only using it for day to day wear. Not getting it filthy. I have been told the the strap gets a little darker with wear which most says suits the watch better.
Once it gets a bit manky I will most likely buy another nato-style strap in a similar colour. It would look OK on a black strap too.
When dicussing which colour to go for, I ultimately went for this watch because of the colour. The size fits my wrist, it feels high quality and does the job. The automatic movement, clear back and great finish are all a bonus.
Go for the colour which you prefer. I understand the colour I got wouldn't be to everyone's tastes. I have too many dark faced watches though and fancied a change.

Actually, JAGS I have just ordered the blue as you suggested... The picture with the lume charged up sold it to me, I think it would be a more flexible colour, and suitably different from my daily Orange Monster. Of course at £38...

Good man! The thing is, at £38 (plus any duty) the watch is a serious bargain. Even if you wanted it in another colour later down the line, it wouldn't be too expensive to get... (You could always tell the OH that it is the same watch, just happens to change colour every few weeks! )

£38 is a real Bargain.
I have been wearing a 5 as a daily watch and it is fairing very well.

Damn, I have just bought a Seiko 5. I bought the Black faced one and then worked out that both my Tag and Astroavia have black faces. I emailed the seller and asked for a blue one, lets see if that can be done. If not I will have to re-eBay and get a Blue one.
I'm going to road-test .. I guess piste-test its ruggedness by taking it boarding to St Anton if it gets here before 28th Feb!

Bagged a blue one too, just what I have been looking for. Nice one In another thread crankshaft said: I've got this on the way at the moment. It's not a Sinn, but the dial and hands are clearly inspired by a 656, or perhaps a Bell & Ross. It also has a display back. Can you guess what it is yet? Great looking watch, a few questions.. How much did it cost? What was the quality like? I've seen the ads on various sites, but how do you actually order? Thanks

It's a bit close to the mark and very similar to the original, but I do like the Tao International 'Bell & Ross BR03' hommage, which according to sellers on the bay, has working countdown and alarm features. It is quartz, but then again so is the B&R ~£60! Then add a decent rubber/nato strap and job done! However maybe; I don't know ... I'm still waiting for my Ball to arrive from Jura Watches and to pass the time (and impatience!) I'm looking for another watch! Tao International do some nice Panerai hommages with display back (6497 movement, although roughly decorated) that are quite tempting and ~£50-60 including P&P.

Odie said: DAMN YOU!!! Just pulled the trigger on that, will see how decent a 7 feedback seller is going to be - but everyone has to start somewhere. Couldn't decide on nato or bracelet, so went for the bracelet one, that way I can always buy a cheap nato and do the switcharoo if I decide to... £38 should equal naff all customs and VAT, even if it does manage to get picked up by HMRC on the way in...
