Aquaracer question

Hi,

I just got a TAG Aquaracer (my first TAG) and the crown does not appear to screw in, nor pull out to position 3, is it me being a puff?

Its the digital display one, the book says pos 0 is screwed in 1 screwed out and 2 and 3 out further still.

Out the box it was in pos 1, only managed to get it to pos 2 without it feeling like its going to snap.
