Hi All

A few years ago I sent off a TAG watch to TAG for repair. It came back with a number of tiny little marks on the watch back like someone had tapped it with a tiny little hammer. I nearly returned it but it had been away for so long I decided against it.

I have just taken another watch to an independent repairer who removed and refitted the back. Same thing again, little dings on the back of the watch.

Am I right in thinking it is some sort of press that is causing this phenomenon and am I being overly picky being bothered by it?

Sounds like the results of hamfisted use of an inappropriate caseback opener.

I am surprised that TAG would have used an inappropriate opener and the repairer with my watch at the moment is very well known and respected. But both watches have had these little dings added. Odd.
