I got the Longines I wanted at a hefty discount as the brown alligator strap was badly sunlight faded, I'm ordering a seperate black alli strap but I wondered if I could restore the brown one - any ideas? it's just that I can't see reference to alligator on the side of my shoe polish tins!

Leather treatment cream that you would use on car seats perhaps? Not sure it would affect the colour but would add oils back into your strap.

A Scuffmaster recolouring or touch up kit would work a treat...
