I've worn a Kobec every day for the past 5 years. Mistreated it, dropped it all the usual. The glass is still unmarked, the watch still works perfectly. The S/steel has picked up a fair few scratches but hasn't discoloured. It basically has done what I wanted it to.

Certainly not worth the RRP, but at less than a hundred quid I'm still quite happy with the thing.

They're rubbish. My ex wife took a shine to one in the back of a magazine years back and when it finally arrived it was truly awful. Given she had a Tag as well, it's no surprise the quality was different.

Try wearing it a hole or two bigger. When it's sitting on the upper part of your hand, it can look smaller, IYSWIM.

Ha ha, no really, it looked like it came out of a cracker. Also, I have a Seiko Monster as well as a few Tags, and I would say quality wise the Seiko is right up there.

Yes it does look and feel a lot more expensive than the £220 I paid. My OCD about scratching it has come on now smile
