It's been far too long.

I don't like my Rolex SD. Too flashy and I feel a bit 'exposed' wearing it shall we say. Regret buying but shouldnt struggle selling.

I sold my TH Carrera and my Omega PO which I loved on a whim to buy it a few months ago.

I now want a nice Tag or Omega again. I would prefer Omega and I assume the majority of you will agree with me.

But what it out there at the moment? Do I go and buy another PO (Orange bezel) as I know I love it.

Looking to spend up to £3k but less is obviously better. Am I right in assuming £2,200 is about the going rate for a PO (sold mine a few months ago for £1,500 - it was immaculate).

Wouldn't mind going second hand - is watchfinder.co.uk recommended?

Mine was same as this but on a bracelet. I do like that strap!

Why not take a step up, and away from the obvious brands you see so frequently on the high street?

You could get a lovely IWC for your budget. smile

Very nice, but a bit 'fussy' for me. Prefer plainer watches hence the SD and the love of the PO and Carrera (although granted that was a bit 'fussier').

I thought the same as you did about the Solar Impulse. But then I tried one on. Very light and comfortable with the rubber strap (less so with the titanium strap I thought, but that's subjective I guess) and much more legible than I had given it credit for. Plus it looks and feels smaller than its size suggests. Made the guy an offer and he said yes. So I bought it.
