A Tag Carrera CV2010.BA0794 and CV201E.BA0794, apart from the thicker silver bezels on the inner chrono?
I assume they have the same mechanism (Caliber 16) and the CV2010.BA0794 is just a newer model?

CV2010.BA0794

CV201E.BA0794

I'm about to buy the CV201E.BA0794 because Goldsmiths currently have it at £700 cheaper for a brand new one...If it's just the bezels that differ, then I'll get the older one!

Any quick advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers

It's the Japanese version of this:

Exactly the same as above, including the Calibre 16 movement, but without the red accents! It was originally only sold in Japan, but Tag must have decided to extend this to a few other countries ... £1,450 is a bit of a bargain!

Keep in mind the Carrera Calibre 1887 is out soon - It'll be around the £2.4-2.6K mark, but the specs and design are rather tasty! biggrin

Cheers Ikemi, didnt realise it wasn't a standard UK version. I do like the red accents, but for the sake of £800 I think I can survive without it smile I'm off to buy it, will post some pics later. WOO!

That Caliber 1887 in white is amazing...must.resist.

Excellent choice and be sure to post some pictures! thumbup The Calibre 1887 will most likely be my next purchase, although with a black dial! However there doesn't seem to be any mention of a release date ... frown

Just a quick update, I went into Goldsmiths in Woking yesterday to buy the watch, turns out they didnt have it in stock so I was a bit disappointed and was about to leave.

As I was leaving the manager offered for him to drive to a nearby store that had it in stock, pick it up for me, sort out all the paperwork and deliver it to my house at 7pm! It was an offer I couldnt resist really, considering he knocked another £100 off because they didnt have it there and then!

So the guy goes to Guilford to pick up the watch, sorts everthing out for me, drops it over to my house at 7pm (he was supposed to be on a half day) with a box of chocolates and a nice bottle of wine.

Now that's what I call service...

Now that is service - well done them. And nice watch.
Thanks for putting me onto the Goldsmiths sale, too; I could really have done without seeing that... wink

I have to say, top service.

Clearly he's making money but he could have waited for the next punter but instead chose to go the extra mile. thumbup

If you mean the left hand inner dial, it's the second dial for normal operation.

I'm quite impressed with it, sits nice and doesnt intrude too much on a double cuff shirt. Next up, saving up for an IWC Portugeuse

Ahhhh I see, that's a stock picture I've put on the post, it's a very good point though!
My watch doesnt have that, but you've got me wondering what it is now!?! hmmmm......

Anyone got an idea on why?

Maybe an assembly issue unless you can rotate the chapter ring with one of the buttons/crowns?

I have the one with the red bits and it too has the inner ring but does not rotate - or if it does I have no idea how.

I see the one the OP has just purchased has the ring/numbers correctly aligned. I have looked on the Tag Heuer website and even thier pictures show one that is misaligned!

Great looking watch, very tempted myself.
