Afternoon Gents,

I'm sat with a watch on my wrist that for all intensive purposes is pretty useless. Well it tells time and looks very nice so not entirely useless.

Its a bluetooth watch that syncs with your mobile and flashes and vibrates when a call comes into your mobile. Well it doesn't any more as I've since upgraded my mobile a few times since I purchased the watch. It has a lithium battery and requires charging via a usb cable every once in a while.

Now the actual watch is very nice to look at but the nerd/geek factor of a flashing vibrating watch has worn off and I'm thinking of changing the movement to an auto or as I might break something, paying someone to do it for me.

The watch is this

14MM Deep Back to Crystal
40MM Across
44MM Across including Crown
39MM Top to Bottom not including lugs

As you can see from the photo it has 2 extra buttons that I'm thinking (dream world time) could be used for a chrono function.

I'm also thinking I'll be needing a cool looking face of some sorts (for the watch not me. I was born cool) smile

Is this possible and mildly affordable? I realise affordablity to one man is different to another. But if I can afford a Planet Ocean with what it would cost me to do this then I'll file it under one of Mr ALvarez's many pipe dreams. frown

So go on then pick my idea apart. I need some grounding.

Might be tough. You'll have to find a movement that fits exactly in their w/ a shock spacer (sorry don't know the correct term) and aligns with the holes and find a face that works as well. you can find some interesting parts at timzonewatchschool.com. Others may have some better advice, but I'd say leave it alone and go get another one. It's probably not worth the hassle.
