That looks great!

Any idea where I can get a similar strap for my colt? Currently on a fighter bracelet but I think I'd prefer a leather strap.

It's the stop-watch feature saying "20 seconds and 78/100ths" have elapsed.

I should know ... thats my old watch !

It's a Chronomat Evolution rose gold bezel & steel, C13356, bought mine 3 years ago, was around £5k before discount although just looked at google and retail is now £7,056!! Might be tempted to sell now!!

Quick question Sir,

Did you purchase your aerospace with a leather strap or aferwards? I'm currently on the aerosapace bracelet but quite fancy a change. Although not at the prices seen so far for strap and clasp!!

cheers

I bought that Aerospace in about '85 or '86 on the (conventional buckle) leather strap, since which time it's been through about four of them. The Chronomat in the photo is on a pattern leather strap (it's a Bob) and a pattern deployment clasp. I wasn't too happy with that, and as of this morning it's on a 22mm black Toshi, and it now looks the dog's danglies.

The Chronomat originally came on a black Croco strap, which I took off immediately as I can't afford (or more correctly have no intention of) paying £400 to replace when it wears out.

Breitling really do take the Piss when it comes to replacement straps, buckles, deployment clasps and bracelets.

If I were you, I'd go for a good quality Calfskin from someone like Hirsch, otherwise you'll be needing to go and see your Doctor about some blood pressure pills before you have a chat with your AD!

Edited to correct bad shpelling.

Nothing recent from Breitling really takes my fancy TBH, aside from the navitimer- which isnt exactly recent.

I am liking those very much. I like the Navitimer too, and I had three at one time. They are not water friendly though, and I have the bills to prove it. The Chronomat on the other hand is a 300m watch, which means you can wear it pretty much anywhere.
