I have got a very lucky dilema, I will have ,by August, about £1500 pounds worth of Goldmsmiths vouchers, and I am looking to add to my watches(at pres an Ebel 1911, Oris mechanical and a Certina)
I fancied an Omega seamaster but I will be about £500 short, any suggestions as to what mechanical watch would be a good alternative.

Do the vouchers have an expiry date on them?? Might be a silly question, but I've never used them myself. If not, would hang on until you have enough and get the Seamaster you really want, otherwise you won't bond (forgive the pun, it's not intentional) with anything else you might get.

In that case use the vouchers as a 75% deposit on the watch, and put the balance on 0% finance.....
