First you have to identify the bracelet. Im no expert, but I have a Similar (although slightly rarer Cal920 date) Chronostop, so Im interested. Thats not an original bracelet to the best of my knowledge... From the picture it appears to be a generic 18mm lumpy/Jubilee type bracelet with an Omega clasp on it. Chronostops came principally with a deployment strap or a very rare and desirable mesh bracelet.

If it is an Omega part then youll need to find the model number and try Googling it. Frei's can be good, but they offer little for older Omegas now.

Agree, it most likely came with a 18mm leather strap. Do you know the model number of the watch, I can't make out if its says seamaster or geneve.
I assume from the picture it's a Geneve ST145.0009 1966-1970 with a 865 movement, but you probably already know that.

Its a Chronostop. Some were branded Geneve, others not. Its a 145.009.

Thanks for the reply, I think you are correct regarding the bracelet (which is a bit annoying as the shop intimated the strap was an Omega one). I have bought a leather "rally" style strap for the time being and will see if I can get my hands on one of the rare original mesh ones.

Pleasure. Youll struggle for a mesh, but this might interest you:

Thanks, I did see that when I was trawling for more info, I spoke to the shop and said about the non Omega strap so I am taking it back on Friday for them to have a look and decide what they are going to do.

Yes, I have read in various places about the rarity of the mesh bracelets, depending on what happens on Friday if I keep the watch then I'm prepared to be patient and try and get one. I know mesh is not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it suits the watch

Anyone out there with any bright ideas as to where I could get a spare link or two for a vintage Omega watch bracelet? It is the 1067/532 model which appears to be like rocking horse p00! Spent an hour on the net and possibly found something in Italy but no-one seems to carry spares and there is no alternate model. My son has inherited an Omega Seamaster from 1972 and it is too small for his wrist.

Any ideas very welcome - thanks

Cousins, or good luck on eBay are the two most likely routes. Freis are a possibility, but he is difficult to deal with.

Have you tried an Omega AD? I need some links for my wife's 80's DeVille and the Watches of Switzerland shop in Brighton was able to order them in from Omega for £20.
