Had a thing for junhans for a while just looking around nd found this mistake.

No. They can cancel the order perfectly legally and reasonably, even if it didn't say "item no longer available" when you ordered.

Perhaps they'll just send you a cardboard cut-out...

Unlikely, as the ad states it's no longer available, which is presumably why they have removed the price - although why they have left the watch there, who knows?

This. As I found out when I ordered a brand spanking new lathe crosslide for £2.39, rather than £2390. hehe

With mail order, isn't it the case that you don't truly have a contract until they've sent the goods?

In 1995, you might have been able to get away with it, but I thought they changed things (law?) so it didn't have to be fulfilled?

If I recall the legalties are that an advert price is an offer for tender. You then make an offer which he can then turn down or accept as he chooses. As a result any mispricing can legally be ignored by the seller.
