Yep, nice. Made (and sold) quite a few of those in the past. Those and similar Steampunk(y) stuff.

Thanks

These should last me a few months then will have to make some more.

I have never seen anything like them other than on watch forums.

How do you make them?
I have a load of old knackered watches, would love to have a bash at making some like that!

Not very sofisticated I'm affraid. Nolar may have a better method.

Bought the cufflink blanks from ebay got 10 pairs for about £3. and a set of gold coloured ones

then looked for old womens watch movments removed the faces and various stems to make a flat surface.

was going to attempt solder/brazing but I did a bit of testing with glue and found one that works glued two blanks together and asked the kids to destroy the bond. They couldnt smile I tried and the brasing on the cufflinks broke first.

I figured that the glue was enough (and a lot easier).

Exactly the same as Pesty. Glue them onto eBay/etsy/folksy cufflink blanks.

Good idea! where did you get the old watches from, and how did you get matching pairs? Assume you had to find 2x same old watch per pair?

What if you don't have kids? Can you get them on ebay, too? biggrin

What if they get carried away and destroy my house? Do you have public liability insurance?

The old "what's the point of children" question finally answered.
