Gents,

Firstly, sorry for absence recently, I have been busy with the other half etc and so far all is going well. I was browsing (despite promising not to buy another) and I found this:

Now for some reason, I can't see how I would change it in anyway, it's just so perfect.

Afraid it's a no from me.

The lug design / strap pin looks far too "industrial" for the rest of the watch. I'm not a Roman numerals person, especial when mixed with Arabic & I'd prefer the date at 3.

Fair enough Andy. All valid points, it just struck me when I was browsing. I saw one of these for sale whilst in San Francisco from a jewellery dealer that sold mainly junk. It was a two tone design and looked great. I thought, considering the other junk in the shop, that I was in for a bargain, the price was $9000. They obviously knew what they were selling.

Stupid question probably, but why is the 4 represented by IIII rather than IV? I have a 'Rolex' that has the same and assumed it was just the Chinese 'Rolex' makers having made a mistake...
