Here are some more of the Sinn's I've owned

144 GMT Lufthansa Cargo LE

656 on after-market bracelet

857

U1 on a Toshi

U2

So although some of their designs are derivative, the U Series are pretty unique and they have a wide range at sensible money with virtually no duffers.

Marvellous - that's the one I want to swap mine for.

By the way, do you keep any giant catfish? I've got a bit of a thing about them and your web link sounds promising.

Careful, you might scratch that brick...

Absolutely, even the derivative designs are really well executed and have some unique features, but it's obvious that Sinn have put a lot of effort into design (legibility) and engineering (sub steel, tegiment, Ar, Sinn oil, diapal etc) rather than rely on branding too much, and as you say, at a reasonable price. Very honest watches imo.

Hi

Yes the Artkis is marvellous and i recommend one highly, i don't keep fish anymore as i just sold off all my stuff, the site i've linked the pic from was a site i used to work on. Catfish especially large ones are mint and have so much personality.
