Just had this on my wrist today and I think I'm in love. Any views or comments would be welcome please.
Thanks.

Thanks guys. I discounted the bigger one as it was a bit too big for my medium wrist.
I actually handled the Rolex Explorer today and I was left quietly disappointed by the look, feel, weight, package. In fact, I have always liked Rolex's, but today I was bowled over by the Omegas on my first 'try on' day at the Bull Ring B'ham.

That's super. I am a bit addicted to the stainless look, so it'll be stainless whatever come the end!Edited by nick_j007 on Tuesday 24th August 19:36
Cheers,
FT.
Yes it is big but I love it and I can see it clearly at all times.
I had the chance of a Rolex or an Omega I have always wanted an Omega though and I was lucky as my wife had surprised purchased the PO for me, I had to go back with it the AD to remove a few links for me to be totally happy with mine,it has been on my wrist since.

What's the general view on Omega compared to Rolex please?
Which watch has the better mechanics?
Rolex, generally speaking, although the co-axial movement found in the PO has much to commend it.Which watch has the better mechanics?
I was certain I would get another Rolex, but I was actually feeling more absorbed and emotionally involved with the Omegas today. This left me surprised and funnily enough a bit disappointed on the Rolex front.
I also like the Sinn's having read about here, but can't see how I can easily get a few on to try first?
I think a budget of 2-3k feels 'acceptable' and can live with myself when I come to hand it over! Anything more I begin to think I could trade up on my car!
Got that exact one a little while ago and still think it's the nuts.
I got the 42mm one as the bigger one just looked a little bit "panto" for me.
In fact mine suits my wrist - which isn't small by any stretch of imagination.
Mine too is on the wrist check 2010 page 17 in the most posts per page format.
Lovely watches, Rolex was for me a little cold in comparison if you know what I mean.

Help me clarify these two please:
Both Seamaster P O's, but one is I believe a liquid metal type which only had a run of 1,948 relating to its year of origin.
I (of course!) prefer the one which I think is the liquid metal s.e.
I can't seem to tell from the Omega web site which is which as it does not make it clear.
I prefer the one with the Seamaster written in red.
They are both here:
1) Red lettering (liquid metal type?) http://www.omegawatches.com/gents/seamaster/planet...
2) Regular PO? http://www.omegawatches.com/gents/seamaster/planet...
Thanks if you could tell me which is the liquid metal I'd be grateful.
