Your Zenith Defy is gorgeous!I would say it is somewhat oddly proportioned, esp. compared to modern watches, slightly thicker than you would expect for its size.
I bought one of these a couple of years back. I wear it constantly as it's not too big and not too showey.
As the time list price was something like £3.3K, I got it for £2.2K as someone I knew works in a jewelers and got it at staff price.
I liked the simplicity of the overall design, with the beautiful detail on show close up, especially with the crystal case on back and side.
I wear it constantly as my only watch.

Over-priced fashion watches? Or sensibly bought, enthusiastically owned, never going to lose money on something that is enjoyed day in, day out. The choice, is yours....
Doesn't have to be Or as you've demonstrated. Can be both.Over-priced fashion watches, undoubtedly. A very ordinary movement without any functional embellishment in a ludicrously expensive package, but as you said a good second hand buy if you like them.
