I've been after a Steve McQueen model for a while now, I went to try one on at the weekend and that sealed the deal, Im getting one, thing is I dont know where to begin looking, or even what prices I should be looking at, out in the Middle East they are about 2,750.00 pounds new with Leather strap, and thats with managers discount! Anyone know what kind of price I can get if I look outside of buying locally (Middle East). Id also consider second hand if it was in v.good condition.

In a perfect world Id like the 60's/70's version calibre 11 but I understand for a good one Id be looking at at least 4k and up.

Edited to add: I also like the black face, limited edition one to a slightly lesser extent than the blue face one, would it prove to be a better investment in the long term?

Any assistance appreciated guys!

My only advice is never buy a watch as an investment, buy it because you want it.

Nic is worth speaking to. I bought the PVD Monaco at the bottom left of this page and love it.

IMO the Oris looks cooler also the Sinn would look much better on a padded leather strap.

Fantastic, Id never buy a watch with an eye for keeping it hidden away in the hope that it would be worth more later, I prefer to enjoy them on my wrist....I was just curious about the "limited edition" ones that seem to be popping up.
Authenticwatches seem to do them cheap, has anyone had any dealings with them?

You have to watch what brands you buy as some don't hold their value very well. IMO with Tag you're better to buy preowned use the internet to check prices on well known watch sites and well known watch forums.

hmm, ok, I wouldnt mind second hand atall, especially if it saves me a tidy wedge. The guy you suggested I email said he cant/wont get this watch so he cant be that much of a tag man!...

"sorry i have no way of sourcing this watch
Thanks"
