Hello,

I fancy a change, as per another of my recent posts, and wondered that the general consensus was on what this is worth? Went to a jeweller in Manchester today and despite their 'strong offer sir' on a p/x, I was left somewhat cold.

So PH, what's it worth?

1997 Rolex DateJust in s/s.
Papers but no box
Good condition- service wouldn't go a miss

Morning,

What are you looking to p/x on? If it's a Rolex you might want to try and close a deal today with the dealer you spoke with, as prices are due to rise by approx 7% tomorrow. What were you offered about £1000?

Hello,

Not a rolex (I'm quitting the brand till I can afford a new GMT!) p/x was a Speedmaster day date. I was offered £1250

That's not a bad offer, but it all comes down to the cost of change. PM the details of the watch you're after....

Bite the dealers hand off - that's as good as you'll get on a private sale, without the risk / hassle of internet sales.

Personally I'd value it at £1.1k private, especially given no recent service and oyster bracelet on a DJ.

Right,

I'll strike while the iron is hot and battle through the rain to do a deal.

Dom- if not, I'll drop you a PM.
