Cheap straps! What do you want for £50!?

I just wish I could get my power reserve version without the parnis writing. Even considered getting the dial repainted, but that would by me another two scratchchin
I expect cheap straps for £50. Just passing comment.

I had a parnis after reading reviews on here, quality feels nice but it sadly fell to pieces soon after. I was very disappointed. You pay your money and takes your chances some seem better than others. This is a uboat one simular to the one i had/have....

I have had this watch with white markers for 3+years and is still going strong, have took it swimming and everything is fine.
Sadly mine did not last long at all which is a real shame as i love the design, fit and feel of the watch. The internal mechanism in mine failed and the hands wont adjust and just free fall around. The clasp on the strap also failed. It was only worn on the odd night out etc. Not sure if it is worth getting repaired. Glad yours has lasted longer though.

The only issue I had with mine was after taking it in the sea the chrono got stuck when resetting, but after playing wit the pushers repeatedly in the airport it's fixed itself.

Just got my Xmas email from Manbushijie, and there are a couple of nice special offers for a day or so in it.

I have one of THESE already, albeit the white faced one and, apart from a noisy rotor, it's a really nice watch. Certainly for under £40. smile

My Parnis Power reserve has stopped frown

If I reset it it works for an hour or so and stops again.

Any known problems or easy fixes if I get the back off?

Or should I ditch it and buy another?

I'm glad yours has been good, i only wish my experience had been the same. I tried to repair it but it ended up in the bin! I have heard the quality is very much hit and miss and luck was not on my side this time. I may try another in the future but do a bit more research.

You should maybe try Getat. I have a couple of his and a couple of Parnis, and the Getat are slightly better quality but maybe I've been lucky with both as the Parnis are doing well also. I've bought from this website with no problems and the watches are still going strong a few years (3 maybe?) later.

I bought one 6 years back, I see they're waterproof now and improved in general.

How long is the wait now ? Used to be quite some time.

Pretty sure mine aren't waterproof either, but yeah they can take a while to get here. Although they were ordered at the same time, one landed within a week or so if I remember correctly but the other 'got delayed at Hong Kong customs' on it's way out and took a couple of weeks longer so best part of 4 weeks. I think the delay was an excuse, but they turned up just as ordered and for about £60 each have lasted extremely well. I would get another but that itch has been scratched for the moment, but you never know.
