Just out of interest - who do you know those girders are 38m long? Is there some sort of truckers underground intelligence system at work?
I know a few folks through Faceache (Including Graham, the MD of H.C Wilson) they're usually quite happy to provide load specs if asked nicely enough! smile

Had a very good afternoon up at the A14 today, such a good spot up there. (Only saw one cyclist in 4 or so hours!) could have happily spent much longer!...

Will get around to posting a few snaps later smile

Although this also suggests you too were out in that torrential rain...I'm off for my ride now, the sun's out too smile

Hi Sam, did you have a good cycle in the sun!? :-)

Referance GPR1X number plate, I've seen it at the new renovated house near the River Mill. Not sure if he live there or if was the project manager for the renovation.

Hi James, I got drentched - have a good day down the A14.
Ride was great. Doing between 10 and 20 miles 5 or 6 times a week and have been for several months.
Another tonight in the sunset which was bliss. (Tend to post pics here)

Which Rivermill, Eaton Socon? I've been drinking there a fair bit the last few months - not noticed car or house renovation! Must be slacking.

I'm impressed with the amount of cycling you're doing, great link.

Yes by the River Mill - Castle Hills, it's huge now.

It was drizzle! wink

Quite like snapping in the rain every now and again though, can get some good action shots with all the spray and what not. cool

No probs smile

Was a bit more than drizzle today!... Didn't stay too long after you went. Did pick up a few nice new rigs today for winning shots so I was happy anyway!

Not too bothered about cars at the minute (although I have seen one or two nice things over the past couple of days...) its all about the wagons as its gradually getting busier and more interesting on the run up to Xmas with fleets you don't often see in this area turning up along with unusual combinations becoming a tad more common...

Had a couple of very smart R.A Howie (Sauchen) DAFs over the past two days (Aberdeen based) caught for winning shots plus a couple of WH Malcolms brand new Scania units (Including the very 1st Scottish based Euro 6 spec unit (G450 Streamline) on Monday afternoon!) which look particularly good in their updated livery too, so yes not too bad at all! Should get even better in the coming weeks!... smile

Hi Andy, Tony et all

Sorry for the late reply, but i've been offline with more computer problems since the 28th of November!... (shame you don't stop for a natter on your travels Andy as i'd have let you know sooner!)
Did some nice long sessions over the past couple of weeks to keep myself occupied. Plenty of nice things seen and snapped and i'll have a mammoth task now getting all the shots uploaded and posted here and there!...

Do remember seeing you pass by Tony, cheers, only realised it was you until after you'd gone lol!

Cheers, merry Xmas smile
