Seems weird to look at most of those cranes and recognise them straight away from work!
If I remember rightly they had a couple of 750s putting up the Biggleswade wind farm, another one that was green from James Jack Lifting, part of Ainscough.

Hopefully you'll see this 764 on the back of a lorry soon, it's just had a track refurb and I suspect will be hired out in the next month or two.
Nice, James Jack run a quality fleet. Never knew they were part of Ainscough though!

Will certainly try my best to snap that 764 if it heads my way some time! Looks a beast as does that 964 excavator away at the side there! (Demolitions spec?) Some quality kit on that yard I must say! smile

Reminds me of this I caught for a shot last Friday! -

Wasn't around at my usual spot for long after you went by this afternoon as I was waiting for my mate to turn up so we could head off to the A14 @ Hemmingford again. Blinding session up there, loads of smart stuff caught for shots 412 pics all in. There goes my night!... smile

What kind of mission were you on then? Trying to beat a personal best time or something?...

Good on ya.

Will indeed keep the pics coming when I can. Feel free to keep checking the Flickr link in my profile for the new stuff. Just started uploading the first of the A14 sesh pics this evening... smile

Some cracking spots!
Ive not had a chance to check this thread for a while, so caught up now smile

We've not had much of interest in at work lately apart from a couple.
We still get an SNT one call in every day to its Glasgow trunk run, but Ive only ever seen this one once.
It was stunning!

Have you ever seen any of this foreign fleet?
We get this one in every week from Italy, Ive seen a few others too and they all as well looked after.
I love the livery colours, very unique!

Oh yes, Stuart Nicol runs one of the smartest fleets going north of the border! (Was named Scottish haulier of the year last year) every one of his is VERY well turned out!

N100 there is a cracker. Photographed that myself on the A1 a few months ago smile

They run a couple of very smart new V4 Volvo FH units too (Night trunk though...) and they are probably best known for their 580 V8 Scania T Cab too which is quite something to behold! smokin

Am a big fan of the Tartan fleets here, would quite happily snap most of the ones I can think of off the top of my head all day!

Yes, I snapped a brand new DAF XF of theirs on the A14 on Monday afternoon -

Very striking looking fleet indeed. Quite often see them over here in good numbers now. Certainly brighten up the roads a bit!

Evening Andy, I knew you'd spot me up there at some point lol!

Certainly did get quite a few of them Wedges, had photted 3-4 others before Mr Tanks collection stormed by too so I can only imagine the Burghley House event was rammed today!

Got loads of pics from 4-5 hours up at the bridge this afternoon. Will post a few to FB and my Flickr later smile

James, you'll probably know this - I passed a Stobart liveried trailer on the M1 near Daventry earlier in the week. It was being pulled by an all silver '12 plate Actros MP4; at first I thought a hire unit but it had a Stobart fleet number on the door. Which contract would it be from?

I also see that Stobart are having an intake or '14 plate Scania at the moment too.

Sure did, hope you weren't caught behind that horsebox for too long lol!...

No worries on the shot of the SEAC, some motor that! Looking forward to doing more sessions similar to that now the show silly season has begun smile

Nice spot. That Merc would most certainly be part of the GP Petronas F1 contract (Got a mix of plain silver and full liveried 4x2 low ride height units for that type of work) Think the Racing base isn't too far from Daventry either.
I managed to photograph 3 of those on general haulage duties on curtains myself just before last Xmas. They run several Pirelli F1 liveried Scania Toplines also. Most likely to see those pulling trailers out of the Goole Tesco DC for store deliveries out of the racing season!

They're also acquiring another load of MP4s on 14 plates at the moment too, seems to be a mix of general haulage units and F1/Euro units again. I got my very first shot of one of the 14 plate Streamlines this afternoon funnily enough! smile -
