James, I was at the NEC today for the CV show and another logistics event, and Mercedes had an Arcos on their stand - it's sodding huge! I like it though but don't think my MD would sign off the purchase of them for our fleet renewal programme this year on the basis of them "being cool."

Evening mate. Can imagine you enjoyed the CV show, been reading about that in Commercial Motor for the last couple of weeks. Quite like the sound of it, sounds similar to TIPex in some ways (Do like my tippers here)
Yeap, can't not say the Arocs hasn't got presence!
Only seen less than a handful so far on the road (Did catch that very smart Lafarge liveried 8w cement mixer as featured a bit in the haulage press just recently for a shot the other week which is my best spot thus far) but they do look very good.
Definitely a truck more suited for construction and heavy haulage rather than fridges/tauts I think!...
Should see a couple more at Truckfest on Sunday... I'll be there all day snapping away. Would be very nice indeed if Merc bring along one of the new 8x4 4160SLT variants for me to have a nosey at!...
Speaking of new construction/heavy haulage motors, got my first look at a brand new Renault Range K in the metal on the road the other afternoon, 6x4 double driver too. In service with Lynch Plant. Now that certainly stood out well!
