Mine wouldn't be up to standard (story of my life!!) A friend of mine popped by yesterday and after having a good chat with him and seeing the pics and video it seems I missed out big time. Amazing who turns up to these things. Saving up for a new car at the moment....having to work REALLY, REALLY hard, when others get things for nothing, it seems just being a nice person doesn't work. Oh well, at least I can sleep at night. Any ideas when the next one will be??

i don't exactly stick my nose in to other people's financial affairs, but i bet that anyone and everyone present yesterday had at some point spent years saving-up for their dream car
...and i bet they've all worked REALLY, REALLY hard
granted, some people do get things for nothing. but i've come to accept that
being a nice person does work. this is what other people say, as obviously i am not qualified to say as such

an inspiration for these meets is you do meet really nice and humble people who simply share a passion for cars.... guess thats why they are on a site called.. pistonheads...

great pics mate, put sunday 12th in your diary...i used to go to the british motor show at earls court.... once as a teen i blagged my way onto the portman lambo stand as i was clearly a lambo enthusiast and got to sit in a countach... still have a pic... my son, thanks to these meets, has seen far more exotica than he would at a motor show, and already sat in a scud, f40, aventador, lp640 and a superleggera...
