on balance, i'd rather run a car without insurance on the public road than on a track Really ? Ive been running various cars on the track for the last 6 years, and currently track my Superleggera, never insured and never had a problem - you do need to be selective about what tracks and events you go on though. Most accidents Ive seen on track are when people run out of talent causing damage to their own cars. Ive never seen two cars come together. So on track, in my opinion, you need to worry less about other drivers.
