Hand Car Wash Milton Keynes

I'm not after the 'pushing a trolley around the car park type'.
I'm hoping there is a decent hand job place that takes a bit of care. 2 buckets, micro fibres etc. I know they exist in some places!
doubt you'll find someone who uses a two bucket technique, it'll be a mitt all down one side including wheels.....I'm hoping there is a decent hand job place that takes a bit of care. 2 buckets, micro fibres etc. I know they exist in some places!
I've used 'Ronnie's' a couple of times (on the road near the Bowl) for a quick wash/hoover on the daily driver over the winter periods.
Always busy and it doesn't use brushes (just have to watch out for the washmitts being used all over the body).
You get a pre-wash spray down and they clean the wheels by hand. Into the machine for wash by hand, then while on the conveyor belt the car is washed by sprays then dried.
Once out they chamois the car dry.
Only a £5 IIRC

I don't use these places personally as I don't like the strong products they use and prefer to do it myself.
But if you must; Roni's is your place.
Also, there's a Texaco garage at Blakelands that suffice but I would recommend Roni's more.

... don't want someone that's gonna scratch the hell out of my car!
Then dont take it to a hand car wash!!. Do you think they use a new bucket and new wash mitt for every car? They will wash multiple cars using the same mitt which is already dirty, and they are just rubbing that dirt into your paintwork. Id keep the fiver!Edited by JBliss on Thursday 28th February 20:58

after killing a few minutes waiting outside the ok garage, i can confirm that the adjacent peartree bridge car wash use the same cloths on the cars as they do on the cafe tables and worktops
hth
I read that as: I clean tables at the car wash hth

I took mine to the one on the a421 BP garage near Kingston.
They did a thorough job and did use separate mitts for the bottom and top of the car.
I was pretty impressed with the finish anyway.

My car is a little swirly anyway from being washed by the dealership.
For a fiver they did a job which o couldn't be bothered to do in the cold and dark.
I'll give it a proper polish and wax myself when the weather's better but until then I'm happy my five pound spend!

Magic on the H3 westbound near Newport/blakelands/tongwell.
Only on daily drivers though.
Anything nice and I'd rather pay a proper detailer or at least get my buckets and some megs gold class on it.
These guys are good - a colleague borrowed my car and they did quite a decent job for a good price.Only on daily drivers though.

Roni's is also still recommended - both at the Bowl and near the hospital.

This is where the other half's car now goes. As you say, pretty good.Only on daily drivers though.

Mine does not as I've been trying to keep it swirl free since getting it detailed a couple of years ago.
