My Clio 172 CUP is loosely up for sale at the moment but I really want to get the wheels refurbished before it does go on the market. Apart from the wheels the car is immaculate.
It has the standard silver turinis and I want them to remain standard silver.
I know there is the "is it worth it" but I think it is.

Anyone recommend anywhere in Hertfordshire? I've had a price for £200 for all 4 but ideally was hoping for around the £150 mark to make it feasible.
Taking the wheels off and delivering locally isn't an issue if this reduces the price.

Thanks in advance.

needed the wheels done on my megane 250 cup.... 18" satin black finish..... needed a one day turnaround.....

both the above couldn't do a one (or two/three) day turnaround...... wheelgenie in huntingdon could ... but had a long wait for and charged almost 100/wheel.....

got my wheels done today at Letchworth diamond wheels .... 200 quid, one day turnaround, wheels rebalanced with black weights-- real nice touch that! highly recommended by me..... http://letchworthdiamondwheels.com/

pics below don't do the wheels justice btw.... they were baked a plenty and the wheels got dirty when the rest of the car was valeted!

ps. if you have a merc/audi or bm, he can awap your wheels out so you don't even have to leave your car!

Are there any in WGC or Stevenage someone can please recommend?

I dont want to travel really and also need a place I can leave my car at for the day, or they can swap my wheels for others, then I can drive home or to work for the day.

I dont have the facility or spare wheels that would allow me to drop off alloys.

I have tried Autowiz in WGC but the guy never bothered to call me back about an appt, so I have given up on them

I was about to recommend Autowiz... They did a top job on mine last year, but it is annoying when people don't return calls.

Thanks, I will try Letchworth again. I did call the guy on Tuesday but he wasnt at his desk, so couldnt check availability for me.

I am a bit annoyed about Autowiz, as I even took my car there last sat for a quote and since then I have emailed twice and called. When I called I said I had emailed and he said yes I got your email. (What no reply? :-)). It's a pity as they are literally next door to Mark Tempest, where i am getting my car serviced next week, so I was hoping to get both sets of work done over a day or 2. Anyway such is life.

Oh well, thanks again

Another thumbs up for LDW. I used Letchworth Diamond last year when I bought a set of BMW M_Sport MV1's to use as winter wheels from eBay.

They were full of kerbs and dings and needed a good sorting out. LDW did a fantastic job and powder coated them lovely metallic anthracite. great service and price.

Thanks again

Thanks, I did think about them, partner lives in Letchworth so would work quite nicely.

Fortunately I was able to sell the clio with the wheels in said condition - My Saabs wheels are looking a bit tired now so will give them a visit to see what they can do!
