FYI All
I discovered last night that someone has done some "road improvements" from the Clophill roundabout towards Ampthill on the A507 (not sure on distance) involving putting some tar down and throwing some stones on it to see what sticks. There is also a small patch (100m/150m or so) also between Ampthill and Maulden (and two big speed bumps) if you try to use the back routes to avoid it as I did. Further afield, part of the Shefford bypass (A507) has been done between the Airman pub and the A1 (I'm not sure how far though). Also the A505 DC between Hitchin and Luton has been done.

As someone who lives round the corner I can confirm that there are a LOT of local roads that have been "dressed" around this area. This is about a week old now, so most of the loose stuff has washed to the side of the road but just go slowly and you'll be fine...

I might come down in my R33 GTST after the run been nearly a year since ive been to this meet. Will come down though weather permitting. Gives me a chance to show off my car again since its spent a week in a garage having a new clutch fitted. So count me in weather permitting
