Need listed building specialist for house in Herts

Hi there.

My partner and I are trying to buy a Grade II cottage in Hert but some points have been raised on the valuation and I need a specialist contractor to come and inspect, provide a quote etc.

I have no idea where to start. Can someone please give me details of someone they know who provides this kind of service?

Contact English Heritage, they may be able to point you in the correct direction (I live in a Grade II building and any changes / repairs etc. need to be signed off by them I believe ...)

Listed building officer at the local council will have a list.
