Sitting in the garden around 4pm today looking at the usual Ryanair and Easyjet flights passing over, the next plane over sounded a touch more noisy, looked up and it was grey with a radar dome on the top, after a double take I realized it was an AWAC! Does anyone know why it would be landing at Luton?

It is the Flying Legends weekend at Duxford so it is my guess it has something to do with this.

Also spotted it this afternoon going over Tewin. It also flew overhead a couple of weeks ago whilst in Tewin, again quite low.

It's been over Huntingdonshire/Cambridgeshire flying fairly low a lot recently too. No one at RAF Wyton on Thursday seemed to know why either...
