Lilley Cherished Car show Aug 31st 1-5pm

Just wondering whether anyone else is going to this, as it isn't advertised anywhere. Second year it's run and it looks like the same format this year; free entry, anything goes, jazz band and beer. Before anyone points it out, yes, it clashes with PistonFest. Completely unpretentious and have rustled up willing helpers to put all my cars on display...

Kevin pistonfest is no longer on except the Sunday service which is only a morning thing.
Might swing by to this... where in Lilley is it?

The perfect afternoon.

Low key event staged in a lovely village atmosphere with great weather.

No set timetable, no judging, no entry fee.

Eclectic mix of cars, bikes, tractors, and small steam engines. supported by a Jazz-band and some great company.

Does it get any better......

First time we have been to this show (thanks for the heads up )and it was a pleasant surprise at how nice the people were and i must say that all the cars were a credit to their owners and i would be proud to say if i owned anyone of them considering Lilley is only 20 or so mins from where i live i cant believe i have not been there before but i think if i can make it again next year then i will def do so

Bugger I forgot this was on, would have popped in on the way back home from SS seeing as it's just up the hill from home had I remembered.

I kept expecting machine guns to pop out of the lights of the Ferrari 250 just like bonds Aston did.
Loved the Vauxhall display, spotted a rather nice Viva GT.
I didn't take many pictures I was too busy talking!!! Lol
