It's that time of year again PH'ers. Kop Hill Climb 2014 is on the weekend of 20th-21st September at Princes Risborough which is half way between Aylesbury and High Wycombe,

Hundreds of pre war cars and bikes running the hill and hundreds of post war in the paddock (and some up the hill). Come and see the Wall of Death, we have a food court, children's area and Soapbox races for the slightly older children.

Whether you're a petrol head or not come and see some of the iconic motorcars and motorcycles of the early era's of the petrol age right up until current day super cars from iconic manufacturers.

It's a day out for all the family.

David.
Kop Hill Climb Entrants Team.

There has always been a fantastic selection of vehicles in the paddock;
even if you've been to the Revival the previous weekend, the Kop paddock
is no let down .......... but I do find viewing the hill problematic, other than the grandstands
at the bottom there's hardly anywhere to get a good view and I've never managed to find
a way to walk to the top whilst still being able to see any action on the hill.

We've worked on the hill viewing. We have two grandstands now the one at the bottom by the start line and another on the straight before the wooded area, they are also larger. We have increased the number of viewing platforms up the hill. The walk through the wooded area up the side of the hill has been cleared more aggressively for this year so you should be able to see more but the path does stop some 100m before the finish line and there isn't anywhere safe to set up viewing at the finish I'm afraid.

Thanks for your support.

David.

I'll be there with my son again this year. He covered his ears as the Napier-Railton passed last year, the big Jessie! We both really enjoyed it and he has been hassling me to find out when it's on again.

I will be there Saturday and Sunday. Wouldn't miss it, a fantastic, friendly, happy weekend, no matter what the weather throws at us.

Bring a hoodie or alternative. It is a little colder here today.

I enjoyed today, the only negative for me was the height of the hedge along the start area, and I am tall. I heard lots of people grumbling about this.

I'm definitely going to this tomorrow. I meant to go last year but missed it.

Planning to go on my motorcycle to avoid traffic woes. What's the parking like, is it easy to find then get into the event?

Well signposted once you get into Princes Risborough. Parking is plentiful and easily accessible.

I had other plans for tomorrow, but it looks like they are changing, so I could end up going back over. Forecast looks better

I did not make it until this afternoon, thanks for sharing these. Looks like yesterday had a slightly better turn out.

I went along on the Sunday - great weather, great cars and a great day out in general! Jay Kay going up the hill in his green LaFerrari was definitely a highlight - what a noise! The LaFerrari definitely beat the P1 in the noise stakes on the hill.

Will have some photos and videos up at some point, so will share a link when they are up.
