Picked up a BMW Z4 as a toy over the weekend - then last night while my wife was driving it someone went into the back of it!

While it's not a new car it was pretty immaculate. I don't want to sting the chap for a full bumper respray etc, anyone had a good experience with a 'smart' repair? It's only about an inch but gone through the bumper to the black plastic beneath.

Ta.

You could try Parkford Coachworks in Taplow. You would have to go to them as they are not a 'man in a van' or so to speak.

The people on the corner opposite Power Biking in town always get heaps of recommendation when repairers get suggested on Facebook.

Found them on Google Maps, Auto Medics:

I've had good results from Fletchers Bodyshop before, you could see if they'll do it for you.

I used these guys to tidy up my old Alpina and they were perfectly good.

Forgotten about this thread. Ended up going with these people:

http://www.classicandcustomworks.co.uk/

as they're close to where I live. Popped in to check them out and had a great vibe about the place, owner was very friendly. Ended up re-spraying the whole rear bumper and very happy - in fact I'm taking my current car to get the same thing done to it.
