Hi Barry, thanks for taking Grace out today! All she's spoken about to her friends today! You made her day... Commented that she probably won't ever get a chance to go in another one!!
My pleasure, glad she enjoyed the ride out in her favourite car. Tell her to start saving. When we do the ASDA charity day at Bruntingthorpe next year bring her along and I'll take her on circuit.
Just one of the scratches here, all in there are three in a row, this is about 3" long the others not quite as deep but longer, just been to the bodyshop who do all my sales cars and he reckons def a key!
I know its only a bit of metal but why should these idiots think that its fine to damage someone else's property, just wish I'd seen them doing it.

Hi folks,
Just the briefest of thanks to you all for a great event. Superb organisation, great location and good coffee. Lots of seriously lovely metal (and composites...) and fantastic banter. The Cobra enjoyed its day out immensely, as did I, and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Taking the long way home with the sun shining was the icing on the cake...
Cheers,
Andy

usually a bike/trolley/pram accidentally catching the car : vandals don't do perfect straight lines
let's hope it's a straightforward repair

just a wild guess, as i've seen similar marks before, including on one of my other cars

Motorbike squeezing alongside the car? Is it the right height for a foot rest?usually a bike/trolley/pram accidentally catching the car : vandals don't do perfect straight lines

many thanks to everyone who made the effort to come yesterday..... glad everyone enjoyed themselves
unfortunately it got a bit complicated for me and I had to pull out to travel up to birmingham instead.... thanks for the warm wishes and sympathies some of you sent.... @79 though, best to celebrate what was than mourn.
steve, so sorry to hear about your car, hopefully a polish out job.... at ankle height and a perfect straight line, unlikely a vandal though, think Barry migh be spot on...

ps can everyone who got a PM sent via pistonheads reply to me please, so I get your email address. I can then set up a group distribution list, rather than PM individually.... takes time otherwise, thanks.
please mate, no more of your "discounted gentlemen's medical supplies" emails BarryP said:
