Full Respray

Just wondering if anyone can highly recommend someone to do a full respray on my GT-R.

I'm happy to have my INDY that looks after my car strip the car down and transported to where it needs to go to eliminate any risk of damage to panels etc where the body-shop might not be sure how trims or panels are removed and then collected to be returned and put back to one piece after.

barr tech in Cambridge did a full respray of my alpina in met silver, they did a good job. mention me (green Gallardo owner).

Phil Smith in Bedford is very good, his company is called Classic and Modern. He used to do all our race cars.

Does it have to be within a certain distance Andy? If not, Mick @ Spray Station has always been rated very highly

Not really no, last car I bought was in Belfast and my car INDY is over 200 miles away, generally I travel where need to for high standard of work etc.

I just want someone who'll take care of the car as if it was prestige and time to strip it without breaking hundreds of clips and parts. I've been down the 'we can do it' routine before and found getting the wrong person means generally paying twice and having someone else rectify issues.

So this time seeking recommendations and I'll either visit / phones those if local enough for a pop in and chat and get a better sense of the professionalism level of the body-shop.

Could drop Goldie a line on the GTROC Andy. Not sure if he does GTRs himself but he'll know a very good place or two that you can go.

Otherwise, Mick @ Spray Station has a great rep, as I said before. I think that there was a GTR on the Register that had been done by him as well?

Will take a peek into this companies, I think from memory Goldie does have his own body shop but tends not to deal with anyones GT-R's as a failsafe should something go wrong and create issues between his workplace and the forum he frequents does track days with etc.
