Hate to ask this again, but it looks like Bowron motorcare in Flaunden are a no-go and best avoided...pulled my car out of there last week after they sat on the car for 4 days when i had it booked in weeks and weeks in advance...various weak excuses including being "too busy" to start the work.

Work involved is cutting out a rusty rear wing, welding in new metal, and painting, as well as various smaller rust repair and spray over jobs on the bodywork.

Ideally as close to st albans as is practical.

cheers

Finishline in Graveley are very reliable and work is always high quality. Speak to Chris. Its about 20 mins from St Albans so may be too far, but they have courtesy cars.

thanks guys, the only other caveat is that they have to be happy doing a bit of fabrication...you can't find Mirage Asti rear quarters for love nor money, so it means a new panel needs cutting and shaping in around the wheel arch area.

Finishline run their own race cars and do major repairs for customers as well as minor, so I'm fairly sure they won't be fazed by some fabrication. But give Chris a call - decent guy, he'll answer any questions.
