Hi all,

Are there any PHer electricians in the Aylesbury/Wendover/Great Missenden area? Ones that will a) actually turn up and; b) actually submit their promised quotes!

We've contacted/seen getting on for a dozen electricians. The result has ranged from not replying to the initial contact to repeatedly failing to turn up when promised to turning up only to disappear again with no further contact.

We have a long list of jobs that need doing but we are more than prepared to have the jobs done in a piecemeal, priority-based order with lower priority jobs done as-and-when.

I realise - and envy! - the fact that electricians are in huge demand but I wondered whether a PHer sparks would, in the PH tradition, look after an fellow PHer. I'm not talking mates rates, I'm just after reliability!

Thanks in advance,
Phil

Call FX3000 Ltd, they are Dunstable based and can be contacted on 07958 591041, the most reliable and suitably priced Electricians around.

We have used Nigel Hemmings in the past and he has been very good:01296 487323.

A bit further afield but also good is Ross Electrics: 01494 565707.

A mix of domestic and commercial - rather than industrial... assuming there's a difference? My assumption being that industrial is using higher voltages etc. Everything we use is, I think, 240 volts.

I live just up the road (Chartridge) and have been to your splendid pub a few times (moved here six months ago). We have used these guys a couple of times http://www.electric-call.net/
They're local and did turn up when promised and provided quotes etc relatively promptly!

That said they do seem pretty busy. Have you tried them already ?
