He was happy enough when he realised we were a load of grown ups and said we had some lovely cars
After all these years, I still managed to miss actually meeting Zippee!!
I do exist - honest After all these years, I still managed to miss actually meeting Zippee!!
I had no idea it was you in the 205 (though many stared, myself included, as you came in - lovely car)
Hopefully will get to say hello at the next one if I can make it.

Never met you on the morning Gretchen but my nephew loved your car.I'm up for first Sunday of the month. Thanks Feef for sparking the idea. And thanks LewG for a turn in your Chim
My EML light came on on the way home.
Good morning though, thanks Steve for letting the nephew sit in the TVR and then scaring him with the exhaust on that thing!
Ahh I'd've taken your Nephew for a drive had he asked. As it was I was flirting with Feef's charming young man the kids like my car because I win the 'yellow car' game for them. Sod your Ferraris & TVR's
Hope you get your problem sorted soon

Where were the grown ups, I only met a bunch of kids with big toys
It was only later I realised who you were - I used to see you and Lisa at the TVRCC meets at Barrington(I used to come along in my blue MFTF which I still have). Oh, and sorry Gretchen! tonyvid said:

Barrington was a while ago, good food until the landlord just seemed to dissapear, Will try to catch up next timeGood to meet you all on Saturday, there was some lovely cars on display. Great to see the red 205GTI too, that was a bedroom poster car for me as an 80's child!
Also, you may remember that I was driving up to Manchester later that morning... well, this happened on the way back:
After shelling out for a 150 mile recovery (the above pic was on the M62 somewhere in darkest Yorkshire), it's now safely at Barr Tech for a new water pump, belt, coolant etc.

Well bugger me. I went out for a drive on Sunday morning since the weather was nice (first time this year- shame on me). New to the area (moved at end of December) I had no idea where I was going and ended up in St Neots in the very same car park! No idea that this meet was on the day previous!
If the weather is good and I'm free for the next one ill be there! Possibly in the Lomax, but I'm going to see a potential replacement for it this weekend, so maybe not....
Seems like a mare active area than the Northamptonshire forum....

Never have I been so happy to shell out some cash - was 'only' the water pump. Was worried that it may have blown a gasket or even worse, warped the head(s).
offshoreeddy - I had a look for your 430 but must've been in the workshop someplace. Think I'll pick mine up on Monday, bit of an outside chance but if you're picking up yours on the same day we can have a blat down the 428

Yeah it's in the middle block of garages, there's a Gallardo in there too; had Tracker fitted yesterday but it also needs new tyre pressure monitor something-or-others, which won't be in now until Wednesday so I can't collect it until Thursday now.offshoreeddy - I had a look for your 430 but must've been in the workshop someplace. Be good to see you at the next one if you can make it. What is the potential replacement likely to be? If the weather is good and I'm free for the next one ill be there! Possibly in the Lomax, but I'm going to see a potential replacement for it this weekend, so maybe not....
